Here we are at base camp! We left home at 7:15 am and drove to the Old Pike Country Club (its just off of I-29 and Vivion road) in Kansas City. The meet lasted all day and it was HOT!! The little ones were champs though, they played and cheered for their big brothers. The boys were asked to compete in the 13-14 year old's relay because they didn't have enough boys, so we ended up staying until around 3:30 in the afternoon. The kids were so exhausted by the end of the day, and we're all more than a little sunburned! It was great though...the boys worked so hard and had so much fun. 7-14-07
