This made me laugh....

A few weeks ago I was watching little ones for a friend and I found this on my boys' bedroom door! I had to laugh out loud! I couldn't help myself!
a) this was taped at my eye level...(so the little ones would never have seen it!)
b)they can't read
c)if they could read, they wouldn't have known what hazardous waste was!!
d)hazardous is spelled wrong (by mister spelling bee himself!) It was all just too much! HILARIOUS!!! I love my funny kids!

Then when I downloaded my pictures I found these..(among a host of other terrible pictures!)
Hannah really likes to take pictures and has started taking them without asking! Not a huge deal but, my batteries were dead...such is life! and here it is from her perspective!...
I guess its pretty accurate...food, toys, mom ironing(sewing), and more toys! Such a funny girl!

I can't believe it...your eleven today! I know I say this every year but, wow time really does fly! You are cheerful, helpful, and happy! You love to learn, and read. You are great at making and keeping friends. And you love to keep busy. We love you so much! Have a happy happy birthday! Keep Smiling!

Works in progress...

Here are a few of the projects I have been working on lately...They are all "works in progress" or UFO's but, I thought it would be fun to share a few pics today. The photo above is of my Hello Betty disappearing nine patch. I think its looking great and I am way excited to finish this one!

This is a pic of several of my scrappy pinwheels that I'm doing for the Nothing But Scraps quilt group. This has been really fun for me and I think the quilt will look great too! I am going to sash in white. Borders are still up in the air!
And finally my quilt made from Nest by Tula PInk. I think it looks great and I can't wait to get it on my bed! I have been having way too much fun quilting!

More Snow!

We got 4+ inches of snow on Friday night....sooo on Saturday we just HAD to go sledding...(Again:) The kids had a great time. They each had their own sleds this time, so no waiting in line! It was great...even Jenna started sliding down the hill and loving it!

Now I am looking forward to Thursday...it is supposed to be in the 70's! Gotta love Missouri weather...you just never know what you're gonna get!

Pros-he gets to "hang out" with his friends without leaving the house

Cons-he really likes to play games (way to often:)

Pros-as long as he gets to play his game...I can do whatever I want...so really its a win win.

*yah, we know how old he is! ha hahahahhahahahha
