Ward Campout
Last Friday night was our ward camp out! It was a blast. Noah didn't get to go because he had a sleepover birthday party to attend, and Erinn stayed home to go to a movie with the guys! But, the rest of the kids and I went off into the big big woods...we pitched our tents and played with the kids. Isaac got to raise the flag with the cub scouts, then we had a lovely dinner, then we roasted marshmallows over the big campfire (SMORES = YUMMY) :) then we just relaxed and talked and played the night away! The boys had a tent to themselves and invited a couple of other boys to camp with them. They were up till after 1 am laughing and playing! I know they had a great time! We cooked our yummy breakfast of eggs and sausage over our trusty camp stove...and washed it down with some lovely hot chocolate! It was a great way to kick off the holiday weekend!
Hannah!
This girl is so funny! She has a ton of spunk...such a big personality for such a little girl! I have often found my camera full of Hannah's self-portraits...It can be quite entertaining! Here are a few of my favorites:
She also insisted on having her bangs cut "just like Hannah Montana" and she told us that when she grows up she is going to change her name so that her middle name is "MON" and her last name is "TANA"!! She cracks me up!

What the Hail???
Yup! Its true...May 15th, the night of our Royals game. We got nickel size hail! It destroyed most of my newest plants and our yard looked like a tornado ripped through. there were leaves and branches everywhere. It didn't stop us from heading out to the stadium to see the ball game though! We had almost a three hour game delay due to the storms, but, the Royals still SMOKED the Orioles! and the kids LOVED the hot dogs, nachos, lemonade, and giant pretzels...oh, and the cotton candy! It was a fun night!
Isaacs Spring Concert
So, this was a particularly busy evening...Miss Jenna has been invited to attend the pre-school in town and I had to go meet her teacher at 6pm. Isaac's concert was scheduled to start at 7pm (across town!) (If you don't get there early you don't get a seat!) So, I went to the meeting, and Erinn took the kids to the concert (and saved me a seat!) I made it in plenty of time and loved every minute of it! He did such a great job! I love how seriously these kids take their concerts! They all dressed up and sang so loud and a few even danced for us! It was so much fun! They sang songs about friendship and kindness. They even sang a song in french! That was Isaac's favorite!
Isn't he cute!? He is so big... I love you Isaac!

Jenna
So, I guess its just my crazy girls...I came home from church one Sunday to find that my dear little girl had cut off her hair! It was so beautiful and long. down to her waist. and I found very large piles of hair similar to this one under the couch and behind our big chair, so, I know she knew it was wrong! She really wanted her hair to be cut short like her cousin Ella, and since I wouldn't let her...she did it herself!
She really did a number on herself. Her bangs were too short to fix and she had many fabulous two inch long layers all over her head! I tried to blunt cut it myself but, ended up taking her to the salon for a good haircut. It does look cute now, even if she does hate to have her hair curled and sprayed every day! I think a little daily torture is a good reminder not to cut your own hair!!! What a kid!
