From Cub to Scout in 60 seconds!

Sam is a boy scout! He has completed all of his time in cubs and had his final pack meeting last week! I am always amazed at how quick they grow up, and how incredibly fast time actually flies! He earned his webelos badge, his religious knot, and his Arrow of Light ( the highest award a cub scout can earn). He is now an eleven year old scout and I am on the prowl for a scout shirt! If any of you know of discounted scout shirts I would love to hear from you!! I am so proud of my boys! Good job Sam and Noah!

Creepy Crawly Critters - Day Camp 2007

Well, we all survived another year at cub scout day camp. The kids loved it they got to make things and hike around. I went with the boys on Friday and Erinn went with them on Saturday we both had fun but were completely exhausted. Sam and Noah were so excited about shooting bows and throwing hatchets. They climbed a web wall, made a pack flag, and made huge fly swatters at a station called fly funeral. They learned knot tying and played lots of games. They also shot bee bee guns and slingshots and learned how to weave webs (eye of God) :) The camp theme was creepy crawly critters. We loved being there to watch our kids have such a blast. Aren't boys fun?!
