We had so much fun playing softball this season! It was hot! The kids had water fights almost every time! They loved having a reason to get wet and dirty...they played in the chalk and ran the bases, they played on the playground and occasionally came back to chant go mommy, go daddy, over and over! We loved it! These are pics of our final game which was played a couple of weeks ago. (I know, I am a slow blogger ;( oh well!) This game was especially fun because we were playing the second LDS team...Kearney 3rd ward...(for those of you who don't know our ward split early this year and many of our members went to Kearney 3rd.) So let the (fun and friendly) rivalry begin! It was a great game, our team has been the under dog this season and if we beat them by 4 runs then we would take second place! That got us all really pumped up (we had no idea we could get second place) Erinn loves to slide so he scraped up his leg. He apparently always slides on the same leg because this leg took a beating! Well, we won by 3....so we tied for second in the league...that's good enough for me!! It was funny though, to watch the Kearney team beg for a rematch....I'll let you know if we actually have one! I love Softball!!!!!
